The Joe Glover Trust, Norad Travel Group's chosen charity held a fundraising Golf Day at the brand new Boundary Lakes Golf Course on Thursday 3rd August 2017.
Norad Travel Group were delighted to be part of the special event, which saw 17 teams come together to compete at the Boundary Lakes Golf Course at the Ageas Bowl, Southampton.
Additional challenges on the day included Nearest the Pin, Longest Drive and Beat the Pro, where players competed directly against golf pro Shaun on the 18th hole.
Despite the difficulties of blustery winds and a brand new course, the Norad Travel Group team scored an impressive third place!
Mick Gibbs, CEO & Chairman of Norad Travel Group said of the event;
"I am so pleased to have taken part in such a fun and successful day for the Joe Glover Trust. It was a great day had by all and I know the proceeds will make such a difference to those families in need"
After battling the elements around the 18-hole course teams enjoyed a well-deserved lunch, followed by the raffle and an auction. Bidding was competitive with some exciting gifts to be won - including 4Ball at The Brabazon Course, The Belfry and a GPS Rangefinder watch.
The Joe Glover Trust raised a staggering total of £55,000 from the day, thanks to the incredible generosity of everybody who took part.
